Nobody Owns Me @ 10:17 pm #

Nope, probably a hyped up right wing take on things.

I “forfeited” food when I bought a new laptop yesterday.

I can’t decide if that is funny or sad.

Obama Bin Laden Still Lives @ 10:29 pm #

I remember back in the day when a dime bag used to cost a dime and nickel bag use to cost a nickel. This country sure has changed. Materialism is running rampent and people should care more about their families than collecting coins.

Do you have a link? A google news search finds zero results for your made up story.

how expensive is one of those coins?

you could have made up a better story.

No I didn’t.

If this is true, then stupidity has become an epidemic.

Bo @ 1:38 am #

i hadn’t heard it but it takes all kinds. i know people that think these things will be worth tons one day. you know what it’ll be worth? it’ll be worth whatever the worth of gold is at any given time. nothing less, nothing more.

Burnt Bagel @ 1:42 am #

provide a link. So much Obama crap out little of it will retain value, let alone appreciate.

Don B @ 1:52 am #

No I didn’t

Did YOU hear about the millions of Republicans that sacrificed 8 yrs of Common sense and decency to buy into Bush’s torture and nearly bankrupting the USA

Kim in Florida @ 2:28 am #

I would not let my kids go hungry for Anything!

Ann F @ 2:47 am #

How can they do that? Do food stamps (We have a card in TX-works much better. ) buy that? I know people can cheat. People can lie too. Coins aren’t that expensive. Do they have ONLY 30$ or so for food a month? Try to make up a better story than that next time.

Orum J @ 3:39 am #

No. I didn’t know there was such a coin because I don’t watch NBC. I have seen some commemorative plates that were made to sell, but not coins.

who's sane @ 4:31 am #

I doubt it, it sounds like crap fresh out of Limbaugh’s, oracle

justagrandma @ 5:03 am #

No. . . . did they then buy steak with their food stamps while you were in line buying generic beans, and then you saw them get into a black Escalade while carrying a Hermes bag?

Urban legends live and die hard.

just plain jim @ 5:16 am #
