The coin was bought on NBC's HSC. The Children are Hungry ,but happy now, because they have captured a little piece of history.What has happened to this country?

I “forfeited” food when I bought a new laptop yesterday.
I can’t decide if that is funny or sad.
I remember back in the day when a dime bag used to cost a dime and nickel bag use to cost a nickel. This country sure has changed. Materialism is running rampent and people should care more about their families than collecting coins.

i hadn’t heard it but it takes all kinds. i know people that think these things will be worth tons one day. you know what it’ll be worth? it’ll be worth whatever the worth of gold is at any given time. nothing less, nothing more.

How can they do that? Do food stamps (We have a card in TX-works much better. ) buy that? I know people can cheat. People can lie too. Coins aren’t that expensive. Do they have ONLY 30$ or so for food a month? Try to make up a better story than that next time.
No. I didn’t know there was such a coin because I don’t watch NBC. I have seen some commemorative plates that were made to sell, but not coins.
