I have a 1912 Indian head gold Liberty coin. How do I tell what “grade” it is?

The coin is in very good condition... however, it is attached to a gold bracelet which wraps around the coin (there is no hole in the actual coin). Does anyone know what it might be worth, or how I can tell the "grade" of the coin? I have looked on a few websites, and it ranges anywhere from $300-10,000.

Quarter Eagle ($2. 50 face value)
Half Eagle ($5 face value)
Eagle ($10 face value)

All three of these denominations had an Indian head design in 1912. Properly grading coins takes a lot of practice, but you might find help for the Quarter Eagle at the first link below while the Half Eagle is very similar in design. If you have an Eagle or any US coin, you might find help in the reference book in the second link which might be at your local library. I hope that helps.
