Over a 25 year period, high-end rare gold coins are the place to be. Quality is what counts most as rarity breeds success in the rare coin market. It was found that high-end rare gold coins outperformed stocks and outpaced everything else over the 25 year period. PS... Sorry about the background. I filmed this in a privet Trading room. www.americanplatinumexchange.com begin_of_the_skype_highlighting 877-281-APEX end_of_the_skype_highlighting (2739)

Hi, I am interested in investing in physical gold. In your opinion, which is a better investment - Historic rare coins that have collector value or straight gold bars bought as close to market price as possible?

I know how to look up the retail prices but am not sure the best way to sell a coin on the open market to get the best price.

I would like to sell them to collectors, rather than sell them for their straight gold value. I've tried Backpage, craigslist, and Ebay, is there anywhere else i should be looking?
